We are in the midst of a global revolution, but we may not know it yet. It’s based on the knowledge of where we’ve been and where we’re going. The tug on the inside of us (“Am I valuable?”) vs. the way we’ve done business before (“This is the way we’ve always done it and what we’ve been taught in college or for years in business; we’re not going to change now!”). Frankly, I’m glad the revolution is here. It’s time we valued the most valuable things in our organizations. Ourselves.
What magnificent creatures we are! Creative. Courageous. Determined. Brilliant. Wise. Bold. Devoted. Caring. Humble. Generous. Resourceful. Of infinite worth. Human.
Sure, we have our problems – after all, we are only Human. We can be pigheaded. Self-righteous. Power-hungry. Intimidating. Too competitive. Self-serving. When we are these qualities, we trash each other. Us. vs. Them.
One of the reasons that the Great Resignation marked our Covid and troubled times is that we’ve realized that it’s time to be valued. By ourselves first. But then, by the organizations that we serve. If these two things don’t align together, we make the change needed to make the alignment happen. The healthy choice may mean leaving our organizations for one where we perceive we may be valued more. But are they any different? We won’t know until we get there. And stay there for 2-5 years.
What if you could know that there’s a worldwide movement coming where we will see the ultimate value of ourselves on behalf of humanity INSIDE our organizations? Would you make the changes needed to unleash our fullest potential? Small at first, to be sure, but small changes in service of our Humanity are great steps in the right direction.
Come see where we’re going – the place that values all of us, together. We’re a part of the worldwide Organizational Model change – the change to Teal Paradigm. Where we humans trade the complexity of today’s organizations, for working in small teams that value other human beings as the amazing creatures that we are. Even if there are 10,000 of us. Teal Paradigm = Human-centricity in organizations. It’s time to put humanity back into our organizations.
